Compliance and lawful practice that clients can actually understand.
REDACTED INT. conducts tasking lawfully, proportionately and with controlled evidential handling. This page is here to show the framework behind that work in plain English, not bury it in vague claims.
How material is handled
The point is simple: collect only what is relevant, handle it securely, and avoid loose disclosure or unnecessary retention.
- UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 principles are considered when scoping and handling work.
- Lawful basis, minimisation, retention control and controlled disclosure are built into the process.
- Clients can request a written outline of handling, retention and disclosure practice where appropriate.
How work is kept inside lawful boundaries
Good private tasking is not about pushing boundaries for the sake of it. It is about staying inside them while still establishing something useful.
- Human Rights Act 1998 considerations matter, especially around privacy and proportionality.
- Protection from Harassment Act 1997 safeguards are considered in how work is planned and executed.
- Evidence-led reporting is kept factual, timestamped and suitable for professional review.
What we do not do
RIPA and the Investigatory Powers Act primarily regulate public-authority surveillance and communications interception. REDACTED INT. does not undertake unlawful interception, device access, or intrusive surveillance.
Unlawful interception, device intrusion, or any conduct that would push private tasking outside lawful scope.
Carefully scoped private investigations, surveillance and reporting designed to remain lawful and proportionate.
